About ANK

Ank is one of the oldest Hindi theatre groups in India, with over 48 years of regular theatre activity in Hindi and now in English.

The group has performed over 7500 shows with 86 plays across India and the world. Ank was created in 1976 by Dinesh Thakur Ji who had himself notched up nearly five decades of experience in Theatre.

Theatre for Ank is not just entertainment but a rejuvenating experience for audiences and performers, a custodian of values, and a statement of cultural inclusivity.
